Connections
A Post-Divorce/Separation Group for Individuals 40+
Connections is a group designed for individuals age 40+ who have been divorced or separated for over one year and are rebuilding their relational lives. Participants may be considering dating again, actively dating, or simply seeking space to reflect on the relational infrastructure of their lives.
Group Format
The group draws on principles of Relational Cultural Theory to explore experiences of connection, disconnection, and mutuality across different types of relationships.
Through guided discussion, relationship assessment grounded in neuroscience, and reflective mapping exercises, participants develop greater clarity and confidence in their relational choices.
Duration
Meets once weekly for 6 weeks
Optional bi-monthly check-in group available for an additional fee
Who Should Join
This group is well-suited for individuals who:
The ideal participant is an individual who is 1-1.5 years out from their divorce/separation, reflective, and wants to be intentional about the relationships in their life.
Individuals who are ideally in therapy or have had some therapy during or following their break-up, but it is not required, there are many ways people get through this experience.
Individuals may be wanting to nurture, sustain, and possibly deepen existing friendships and community engagement or possibly considering a change in their friendships
Those who want to date again or have been dating, but realizing they want to understand what it is they are seeking out in romantic connections
Individuals who just hold a desire to better navigate experiences of connection and disconnection
This group is open to all identities and relationship histories, including LGBTQ+ and straight individuals, and those who were legally married or in long-term committed relationships.

includes 6 weeks of the group, along with 1:1 meeting access with Dr. Moore during the 6 week group.
